Jen and Daniel’s Elegant Spring Wedding – Bourne Mansion, Long Island, NY
I received a telephone call from Jennifer’s mom who lives in the next town over inquiring about invitations. Her daughter, Jennifer was in the throws of trying to plan a wedding as well as finish up her Phd. They had picked the Bourne Mansion, in Oakdale, NY to have the reception. It is an absolutely exquisite spot to hold a wedding, but in terms of planning, certainly not easy as they had to rely on the venue for many of the other vendors for the wedding. At least for them, having a stationer in the area would make one step a little easier.
Black moire fabric fold over invitation with satin ribbon. Jen and her mom came to the studio and had a very clear idea of the type of invitation they wanted to see. She was planning a very elegant wedding and the tone of the invitation needed to express the event properly. They chose one of my all time favorite invites, our black moire outer shell invite with cream interior. It suited the mood of the wedding perfectly and incorporated a side slip pocket for the additional inserted papers.
