Suddenly, I see them pause and all their planning and preparation becomes very real. Their date in front of their eyes. Now all they need is the big day to arrive.

I started my first company, DBP & Associates, Inc. in 1994 as a sales and marketing organization in the gift, stationery, book and music industries. I had been a Sr. Buyer for over 1,000 stores and a VP of an entertainment company before going out on my own.
I've always been a career driven person, but found and married my true love and best friend, Cary, in November of 2001. Fifteen plus years, three children and multiple dogs later, our love and joy have grown.Planning our wedding was one of the most fun and exciting things I have ever done. It was easy and seamless. I knew what I wanted and when I wanted it. Not a moment of panic went into planning – just the sheer joy of knowing that what I was doing would work. It this expertise and mindset that I decided to start The Persnickety Bride.
